Returning All-Peach Belt Conference and Division II All-Southeast Region performer... Holds the Clayton State single-season records for points and field goal attempts and Laker single-game mark for field goals... A very athletic and explosive wing who can also play forward… Can shoot the spot up jump shot, but really thrives when attacking the basket off the dribble… A strong finisher at the basket with either hand… A legitimate Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year and Division II All-American hopeful.
2009-10: Started 29 of 30 games last season, averaging 18 points and six rebounds a game, while shooting 47 percent from the field... Became the first player in Clayton State history to eclipse 500 points scored in a season... Was selected Peach Belt Conference Tournament Most Valuable Player after a career-high 34-point, 15-rebound performance against Francis Marion in the PBC championship game... Scored in double-figures in all but five games, including 11 games of 20-or-more points... Scored 31 points in the regular season finale against Georgia Southwestern, plus 30 points against UNC Pembroke, 27 points against Georgia College and 24 points in the season opener against Albany State... Grabbed 10 rebounds each against both Rollins and USC Aiken... Earned All-PBC and Division II All-Southeast Region honors... Ranked fourth in the PBC in scoring.
Pre-Clayton State: Lettered one season each at Guilford Tech in Jamestown, N.C., and at Division I Western Carolina in Cullowhee, N.C… Head coach at Guilford Tech was Treka McMillian… Averaged 17 points, eight rebounds and three assists a game, while shooting 52 percent from the field… Garnered NJCAA All-Region X honors in pacing Guilford Tech to the NJCAA Region X championship… Head coach at Western Carolina was Kellie Harper… Played in 27 games with 16 starts during her freshman season at Western Carolina, averaging eight points and four rebounds a game… Reached double-figures in seven games, scoring a career-high 20 points against Furman.
