SEWANEE, Tenn. – Junior
Destiny Johnson (New Iberia, La,) continues to make her mark as she broke the program's indoor high jump record as Clayton State competed at the Tiger Indoor Invitational in Sewanee, Tennessee on Saturday, February 3. As a team they finished 3-of-9.

Two weeks after tying the program record Johnson surpassed it with a mark of 1.60-meters to finish 1-of-10 in the high jump, besting the mark set by Keisha Etienne in 2007. She also notched a 1-of-7 outing in the triple jump with a personal best of 10.43-meters and continued to excel as she came in 3-of-15 in the long jump (4.84).

Sophomore
Shockera Betty (Tallahassee, Fla.) followed right behind with an impressive 2-of-7 finish in the triple jump with a mark of 10.19-meters along with ranking 4-of-15 in the long jump at 4.79-meters. Sophomore
Nia Elmore (Hinesville, Ga.) finished with multiple top performances, headlined by her 2-of-27 finish in the 200-meters (27.08) along with a 3-of-32 finish in the 55-meters (7.35).

Jasmine Radford (Lawrenceville, Ga.) put forth a dominating performance as she finished 3-of-27 in the 200-meters with a time of 27.40, followed closely by her teammate freshman
Chaviya Jackson (Albany, Ga.) who finished 4-of-27 in the 200-meters at 27.47. She also finished 3-of-14 in the 400-meters with a time of 1:05.04.

Coming off of her personal best last meet, freshman
Abigail Campbell (McDonough, Ga.) led the way in the shot put finishing 2-of-23 with a 11.62-meter mark. Additionally, junior
Ariel Boyd-Ghani (Morrow, Ga.) beat her personal best in the mile with a time of 5:43.82, finishing 7-of-17.
The Lakers return to action on February 8-9 as they head to Emerson, Georgia to compete in the Dunamis Georgia Indoor InvitationalÂ
