The Clayton State University Cheerleaders are proud to announce Fall 2012 Clinic & Tryouts. All students wishing to become a member of the squad are invited to participate. 

All currently enrolled students are eligible to tryout. Attendance/participation is mandatory to be considered for the squad.  For more information on required material, stunts, tumbling and helpful hints, please click here.

Fall 2012 Tryouts & Clinic & Tryouts
August 20, 6 p.m.

Student Activity Center

Clinic & Tryouts will take place Monday August 20 promptly at 6 p.m. in the Student Activities Center.  Late arrivals will not be permitted to participate in clinics or tryout.

Students interested should complete the following required paperwork and bring these documents on August 20.


Required Paperwork

1. Cheerleading Tryout Application

2. The evaluation fee for tryouts is $25 per participant.  Checks and money orders should be made to CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY.

3. Acceptance Letter or Most Recent Grades (*You must be accepted to the University in order to tryout or have a minimum 2.0 GPA).

4. Copy of a current physical exam, including new NCAA-mandated Sickle Cell Trait test (exam within six months).

5. Proof of Insurance.

6. Medical Release Form

*Anyone who does NOT have any of the above information and/or fee will NOT be permitted to try out*
